We’re on a palm-fringed white-sand island off the north-east coast of Malaysia. It’s Muslim so booze is expensive and hard to find - boo! But it is nice and hot. We’re right next to the jungle so I’ve been eaten alive by bugs and everything feels a bit damp. Apart from that having a lovely time reading and eating. Off tommorrow on a jungle train through the mountains and then its down to Singapore and the larger island of Australia. I can’t be bothered to write more in this heat, so, see you anon.
