I’m thinking about a historical crime series of books based around Jesus.

He has his posse of disciples to help him solve crime in 1st century Gallilee. Everything from goat rustling to murder.

Thomas would say, “I don’t think this is our guy.”

or, “I’m not sure if this is the murder weapen, you know.”

Jesus will pick up phrases he hears and write them down for later. For example, in the first episode a rich merchant is murdered and Jesus, Police Cop of Nazarus is dispatched to the scene. He wonders around looking for sandal prints etc. Then he asks, “Where did the murder actually happen?”

To which the murdered merchants son replies, “Well, in my fathers house are many mansions…”

Bingo, thinks Jesus. That sounds nice, I’ll write it down for later use.
