My friend Darren Adams’ photos from the G20 protests. He says:

This is him on SKy and I am the guy that comes in from the left to take a photo of him - This is the pic. The reporter says he is “The Ring Leader” but this is what he actually looked like at that exact momment.Before the cameras started rolling. This guy was hit purposely on the head to make him bleed and in return to get the crowd shocked and aggressed. See how he is crying? As you see him there waving his arms about he was shouting at the police - “What the phuck have you done - why have you hit me!?” If u carry on watching - he then gets pulled down again and hit! Reported says nothing, only when the policeman gets a wallop does the reporter - report. Not happy with the media. They will not show what happened before that, because everyone was peaceful. In general it was a lovely festive atmosphere. Take note the bank that ended up been that ended up been smashed was literally 10m away. The Police took no action, a feast for media to paint a bad pic”
