4AD’s newest bright young things bring to mind Curve, Swervedriver and a million Alan Moulder bands. The Big Pink add grittier drums to the sound but the whirry narcotic quality is intact. If you remember this sound from the first time around you’ll love this, and if this is the first time you’ve encountered Shoegaze you’ll love it too, either way, get ready to love it.
